Out of all the animal junk science out there the one that I think bothers me most is the notion that humans only like cats because of toxoplasmosis.

As if humans ever need help to immediately imprint and love on a tiny, soft fuzzy animal with big eyes? Do you think squirrels are secretly manipulating you with parasites too? Baby chicks? Hell, weasels?
