So as many have noticed myself included. God of Light has an interesting trick he displays when killing grimm around him.
This blinding flash of light reminds us of a certain girl in a red hood.
I mean we all see it.
But how does Ruby have this godly ability. Well we know shes a descendant of Silver eyed warriors. A rare sort on Remnant with silver eyes that contain this power.
But the question is why… why do these people have this ability. Well I have two options.
These people discovered the pool or life and creation and continued to drink and consume from its waters. Possibly even watered their crops with the stuff. Creating a small civilization that lived there.
And eventually the empire was destroyed by some force. Either another settlement group. Hunters looking to kill silver eyes because or rumors Salem spread. Or just got a sickness and died out.
Second option.
Ozpin did it. Accidently.
By procreation. Just like with his daughters he had with Salem inheriting magic. These children of Oz. Possibly spread out by numerous lifetimes.
Eventually gain the trait on their own. And that somehow. The God of Light’s magic that was gifted to Ozpin upon his reincarnation. Passed onto his offspring. A side effect of his curse if you will.
Ozma himself has his eyes glow gold whenever he is switching between conciousness. What if the God of Light gave Ozma more than reincarnation. What if he secretly passed some of his own gifts to Ozma. I mean the gods granted gifts before. Why not now?
And we know the God of Light likes to experiment and create new things. 😉
