political comics that are just kids holding books and going “what’s this?????? not a electronic? no computer???not phone?? how can be??” will always crack me up
I think old people do this just to feel better about themselves because they don’t know how to use a computer and think that it works the other way around for some reason.
Every time I reread issue 12 I have to offer Tailgate some honest fucking kudos for dragging Cyclonus’ half offlined ass all the way to the medibay.
I know we have minimal context on the distance between SB4 and the medibay, but we know it took at least 16-17 minutes for them to get there. It honestly couldn’t have been a short drag walk as far as distance goes. (Chromedome and First Aid appeared to have been running most, if not the entire way, and it took them more than 3 minutes.) For a quarter of an hour, Tailgate covered an impressive amount of ground pulling along a mech that’s easily three times his size.
Tailgate saw the state Rewind was in, and that could have been him if Cyclonus hadn’t yeet’d him from the room before they were shut in. And you gotta admit. Seeing everyone else be loaded up and taken to the medibay, Tailgate waiting by Cyclonus only to realize there were no gurneys or larger mechs returning for him to be seen to–Tailgate is pretty tenacious as is, but that’s some impressive determination to get all the way there with no breaks taken, or attempts to find someone else.
Determination, and some amount of animus.
(Additionally I want to say that while Cyclonus survives a lot of shit and the explosion is something that’s been rightfully pointed out a handful of times, let’s not forget he was leaking probably the whole way. And any point we’ve seen a “leaker” or other forms of severe injury, it’s been Bad News Bears™ if they were moved so much as half a room, pretty quickly bringing a workable state down to a critical one. Cyclonus made the trip being yanked along and dragged over uneven ground.)
For any of you who are writing ‘across the pond’-here is a little guide I put together of some common differences between British and American English!
if you guys look it up there’s pictures of them like wrestling and hanging out and just generally being good ol boys who love each other and it’s really cute
My parents met and got married while in med school. On the way to graduation, they were both headed to the room where the graduates were to wait before the ceremony, when an attendant stopped my mother and told her that the room was only for graduates and the spouses were supposed to wait in another space.
Now this would be crazy enough, but the kicker is that they went to a historically female medical school. Their class was mostly women. And still when the attendant saw a couple of graduates, they assumed the man was the doctor and the woman was the wife.
